Family Appeals for Help in Finding Missing Egyptian Man After Lampedusa Shipwreck

A desperate family is pleading for help in locating Ammar Mahmoud Aboulnour, an Egyptian national who went missing following the tragic shipwreck off the coast of Lampedusa on August 13th.

According to reports, a migrant vessel carrying dozens of people capsized in the Mediterranean Sea near Lampedusa, leaving many dead and several others still unaccounted for. Rescue efforts have been underway, but families are struggling to find information about their missing loved ones.

Among them is Ammar’s family, who has been living in anguish for the past several days with no confirmation of his whereabouts.

“Good evening, I’m looking for my brother Ammar Mahmoud Aboulnour, missing in the Lampedusa shipwreck on August 13th. There’s no news on whether he’s alive or dead. Please help us; my family has been in despair for four days,” his brother said in a heartfelt appeal.

Ammar Mahmoud is originally from Egypt, and his relatives are urging anyone who may have seen him, or has any information about survivors, to come forward.
