In an interview with Pasion Blaugrana (via Forbes), the Inter Miami forward said:
“I love Barcelona today. It has impressive dynamics, football, and efficiency, has a very high level and there are two players who are above average and make the difference, which are Lamine Yamal and Pedri.”

Suarez, who scored 198 goals during his time at Barcelona, admitted that he is surprised by Pedri’s exceptional form this season.
“Pedri… I am seeing a level of play that surprises me at the high level he is achieving,” said Suarez.

Luis Suarez also expressed amazement at Lamine Yamal’s maturity and influence on the pitch, despite his young age.
“Yamal is surprising me because of how old he is,” he added.
